Accurate and reliable monitoring of electrical parameters in demanding environments
The CT305 energy measurement sensor is designed to provide accurate and reliable monitoring of electrical parameters in demanding professional environments. This innovative sensor uses LoRaWAN® technology to ensure efficient data transmission and wide coverage. With a collection frequency of 3.3 kHz and a measurement accuracy of ±1%, the CT305 is ideal for monitoring the effective current value of electrical systems operating at frequencies of 50 to 60 Hz. The CT305 has a rated primary current of 500A, and it can detect rated secondary currents of 150mA with a resolution of 1mA, enabling detailed and granular monitoring of currents.
Support for external temperature probe
This sensor also supports NTC thermistor-based wire temperature probes, capable of measuring temperatures from -20℃ to 100℃ with an accuracy of ±1%. This additional functionality enables comprehensive monitoring of environmental conditions and operating parameters of electrical equipment. Setting up the CT305 is made easy by a USB Type-C interface and a PC toolkit, while a hardware reset button and a red and green dual-color LED light provide easy on-site monitoring and diagnostic options.
Lorawan Communication
In terms of wireless connectivity, the CT305 uses the standard LoRaWAN® protocol with an external SMA female antenna interface, ensuring robust and stable transmission. The transmission power ranges from 16 to 20 dBm depending on the frequency, and the receiving sensitivity reaches -137 dBm at 125 kHz SF=12, ensuring reliable communication even in harsh environments. The sensor supports OTAA/ABP Class A working modes, providing flexibility for integration into different energy management systems.
Quality materials, IP30 protection rating
Constructed with high-quality materials, the CT305 features a blue PBT+PC shell, offering an IP30 rating and UL94-V0 flammability resistance. The sensor and its host are designed to withstand a variety of operating and storage conditions, with respective temperature ranges from -20°C to 70°C for the host and -40°C to 55°C for the probe. The sensor installation method is simplified with an open-ended current clamp, allowing easy suspension to the conductor under test. This makes the CT305 an ideal solution for accurate and reliable energy monitoring in industrial and commercial environments.
