Accurate energy monitoring for high power

The CT105 is designed to measure high currents up to 500 A with an accuracy of ±1% beyond 5 Arms. It features a sampling rate of up to 3.3 kHz, which ensures high fidelity in data capture and allows for the rapid detection of anomalies such as overloads, consumption peaks or equipment malfunctions.

With a fine resolution of 1 mA, even subtle current variations are detected, making it a formidable tool for predictive maintenance, advanced energy management, and equipment performance monitoring.

A ready-to-use solution, without power outages

One of the CT105's major advantages is its non-invasive clamp design, allowing installation without disconnecting the power supply. Simply clip it around the conductor to be monitored. This design is particularly useful in commercial buildings, data centers, or industrial environments where every minute of power outage is costly.

Additionally, the CT105 can operate in self-powered mode, capturing energy directly from the measured current. For low currents (less than 30 A), power supply via USB Type-C can be used to maintain optimal measurement accuracy and ensure regular data transmission via LoRaWAN.

Long-range, low-power LoRaWAN® transmission

Integrated into the LoRaWAN® network, the CT105 transformer ensures long-range, low-power transmission. It is compatible with major global frequencies (EU868, US915, AU915, etc.) and operates in OTAA or ABP mode, in Class A, thus ensuring flexible and secure deployment.

Its sensitivity of -137 dBm and its transmission power of up to 22 dBm ensure excellent range, even in complex or metallic environments.

Alerts, monitoring and platform compatibility

The CT105 transformer is capable of sending alerts in case of threshold exceedance, with a customizable measurement interval of up to 1 second, for rapid feedback in the event of an electrical incident. It also incorporates an indicator LED to visualize its status or a possible malfunction.

The CT105 transformer is fully compatible with Milesight LoRaWAN gateways as well as the Milesight IoT Cloud, enabling remote monitoring via a user-friendly web interface. Firmware updates can be performed remotely (FUOTA), facilitating large-scale maintenance.

Cable temperature measurement

In addition to measurement, the CT105 transformer allows the connection of a temperature sensor via USB, to monitor the temperature of electrical cables. This feature is valuable for anticipating overheating problems, often a warning sign of electrical failures.
