Comment résoudre l'erreur SSH : warning : remote host identification has changed !

Equipe Sparwan |

You want to connect by ssh to your machine but this damn error message appears?

lDYSyvvnLvtdLpADYcdubiIjPHREqBtSR971KyW555JONK3VafNsWTojeg6CyO3saJtACh7NpUybq6f8BotzapLp0QP7ikVahW8rI4hufcChpta-8NgUju6hWqgSLISLwypXUfzHVub3EJCqT2UD yxkr3MJxcxM463GsHGux3lDJFKqDrOG9Hcw

Here are two methods to overcome this:

1) Windows

type windows+r and enter this in the small window:

mXr9ihaXE4DmMU0gvuEP8aZ12IaA9I82GhozCMQKnjB0i7uvRx1RMGVeO3qZH4l7jNE0gulpdl7sA7BgxyhvNcblzPS-Jt8DXVzdoEdh7uV6imFMJAcYP3jD35YMV6Z6t8A6Wp-Vqsu23AAG J7xL6YZ3i38U1RTiqbnTyJRt-B-BpBa2NYqI5NE

This should open you a folder with a knownhost document inside:

yK9b_exwisc18xbREIRdC6VjgX0I6-UflTa6pxcXgi0LgyxnNcOuk3CqAd3O4JFUv4GQ5VF755zE9Yqdudn7nblYzm1hRdAGekvqMOX_SrKeDLKLVkx9jkas8uAM_c64AIxxWmCR1oH3x-BzS y_B9YuGL0N1u-1iDLZnNvgTKRephY_OPyILpSc

Simply edit this file with notepad or notepad++ for example by removing the line dedicated to the server.

In my case the file goes like this:

K1SXIAHr4p8g2D0MMe5KwiVw7QVeA-E0qQnx46rp_wIA3IP-tKdQYG_Oc-3eIbuJpVTggMn9w86h7_WFoWrI5iG9NebM2FYg9p3qOiRhEfzDawXmHZX8eEQ8zAZGa3Xkw0PT55rvWiMDh -uPpuhu7SXZlJSj0vWxwAMwJ3n2UVr1JHN1EPZK6LQ

to this :

Fvnm7nlGgksG7k2NaghU0t7OY-WHD_iqDYNPRPuK9GyCrws8_3kr6QDDuzYa7VGLmtOnLv7I8uQ2S0YipLsyldIR9Hd5TOjcSEmjXEvOsVEL8WYW2FqKexWIgkO3bovhabfDvaN29-wGigeXZlfW2 92RbUPkrtVyT56qa9AdWHcbr_qvKAwjY6o

(I removed the entire line with the ip 10.0.0.95 which was my server's ip).

Save the file and try the connection again which should work this time.

2) Linux/Mac

Same procedure but in the directory: ./ssh/known_hosts

Type the following command: ssh-keygen -R <server_ip>

eRx1Em2DKGt4KtNWxOy2zLZxRiO-lYU_CmNfaPkYe49Hm_XcbjWxi-kc_2JAiLw3IvDSRiUf57Wb6B6uRImaaktapsKIxUGi_jsQbRS0kwuDGnU0fAg2wwrpb7H8JfBdug-jPMBEKx1na6 T2CA27XrgU-7Ec2ZS682ZSDQkrnwFhL6RHzM0T0OA

This will have the effect of renewing the ssh connection key to this server for this machine.

(known_hosts.old being the file before renewing the ssh key).

Now try again, and the connection should be successful.
