Context
Energy costs are rising rapidly and the hunt for unnecessary heating costs is on. Collecting information in the field using temperature and humidity sensors can provide a better view and understanding of real situations in order to be able to provide the most appropriate responses.
Deploy a sensor network quickly, simply and at low cost with Lorawan and Sparwan
As is often the case, simplicity is the best solution. The Lorawan is above all a solution which allows, thanks to very little hardware (only a gateway), to deploy and collect data from sensors scattered over a wide area of up to 2km in the city and 15km in the countryside.
When it comes to deploying a supervision solution for collecting field information, it can quickly become a real headache. Lorawan makes deployments extremely simple:

A simple infrastructure
For this example, we used a simple infrastructure: the monitoring of temperature, CO2 and sound sensors located in an office building.
A Lorawan gateway:
Depending on the location and the area to be covered, we select the most suitable Lorawan gateway. For our example, we are using the most basic gateway in the range, the UG63. This Gateway is perfect for covering an interior area, at a very moderate budget.
Temperature / and sound sensors: AM103 which allows the reporting of temperature, humidity and CO2 data WS302 which allows the reporting of the ambient sound level
Monitor your infrastructures from a central point
In our example, sensor monitoring is carried out via the integrated Milesight IOT Cloud solution. It is possible to monitor the reported values and organize them using dashboards that are simple and quick to deploy.
Sensor onboarding is almost automatic and pre-configured widgets are available for each sensor in the Milesight IOT range.

An open solution that can allow the installation of free solutions
It is possible, as an alternative to Milesight's IOT cloud, to deploy to a third-party solution, such as thingboard.
Third-party solutions are generally based on Opensource solutions. They need to be deployed on a local server or on a VPS in the cloud.
