Comment connecter les nœuds LoRaWAN à la passerelle Milesight

luna fouilleul |

Description

The Milesight IoT Gateway has a built-in network server. When the network server is enabled, users can add LoRAWAN nodes/sensors to the gateway and check the data directly. This article will show you how to connect LoRaWAN nodes/sensors to Milesight Gateway.

Requirement

  • Milesight LoRaWAN UG6x or UG8x gateway.
  • LoRaWAN node/sensor (take Milesight EM300-TH as an example).

Make sure the sensor and gateway support the same LoRa frequency, such as US915.

Configuration

1. Before configuration, make sure that the LoRaWAN node/sensor is not enabled on other network servers. Take EM300-TH as an example, run Milesight Toolbox APP on smart phone via NFC or open Toolbox on PC via USB Type-C to ensure the sensor 's Jo in status is disabled .

2. Go to Packet Forwarder -> General to enable localhost server.

Click Save and Apply .

3. Go to Ne two rk Server - > General to enable the integrated network server.

Click Save and Apply .

4. Go to Network Server -> Applications to add an application.

Name and Description: User defined.

5. Go to Network Server -> Profiles to add a profile.

Name: User defined.

Join type and class type: Same as sensor.

6. Go to Network Server -> Device to add sensors.

Device Name and Description: User defined.

Device EUI: the Device EUI of the sensor. For Milesight sensors, you can find it on the label or on the ToolBox.

Device profile and apps: those you added in the steps above.

Application Key (AppKey): The application key of the sensor. For Milesight sensors, this is a general sensor (5572404c696e6b4c6f52613230313823). You can also find it on the user guide.

If the join type is ABP, please complete the parameters below:

Device addresses : from the 5th to the 12th digit of the sensor SN.

Network Session Key ( NwkSKey ) / Appcation Session Key ( AppSKey ) : For Milesight sensors, this is a general key (5572404C696E6B4C6F52613230313823) . You can also find it on the user guide.

Click Save and Apply .

7. Once the sensor has successfully joined the gateway, you can see that it is activated .

Go to Network Server - > Milesight Gateway Packets to check the uplink data reported by the sensor.

You can also see that the participation status is activated from the corresponding software.
