Description

The Milesight LoRaWAN Gateway supports template upload and convenient import of multiple devices.

This article describes how to bulk import devices into Milesight Embedded Network Server. If you need to add a single device, please refer to How to Connect LoRaWAN Nodes to Milesight Gateway .

Requirement

• Milesight LoRaWAN Gateway
• LoRaWAN Terminals

Configuration

1. Make sure there is at least 1 application and profile at Network Server > Applications and Network Server > Profiles . Please refer to this article: How to Connect LoRaWAN Nodes to Milesight Gateway . In this article, we use cloud in application and ClassA-OTAA in profile.
2. Go to Network Server > Device , click Bulk Import and download the template.
   
   
3. Fill in the device information in template.csv. Necessary attributes:
   If the join type is selected as OTAA ,
   enter: name, description, purpose, application, deviceprofile, appkey.
   If ABP :
   enter: name, description, deveui, application, deviceprofile, devaddr, appskey, nwskey.
   
   Let's take AM107 and UC1152 as examples.
   
4. Click Browse to locate the .csv file and import it.
   
5. Once the bulk import is successful, click Apply at the top right to confirm the configuration.
