16-channel Modbus RTU Relay
The Waveshare 24921 is a 16-channel Modbus RTU relay module designed to drive a large number of outputs from an RS485 link. It is suitable for automation cabinets, test benches, and multi-equipment control applications.
16 relay outputs via RS485
The module allows controlling 16 relays via the Modbus RTU protocol. The Modbus address is configurable, which allows integrating several modules on the same RS485 bus depending on the installation architecture.
Interfaces / protocols / integration
Communication is via RS485 with the Modbus RTU protocol. The module supports control functions adapted to relay control, including temporary activation of a channel according to the commands used.
Industrial design
The 24921 integrates isolation protection, a resettable fuse, and TVS protection. Its ABS casing is designed for DIN rail mounting. The power supply indicated for this version is 5 V.
