The Waveshare 24963 is an industrial dual-channel RS485 Ethernet serial server with PoE support. It allows two RS485 devices or buses to be connected to an IP network while simplifying power supply via Ethernet.
Two RS485 and PoE Ethernet Ports
The 24963 features 2 RS485 ports and 2 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet ports with PoE compatibility. Each RS485 channel can operate independently, allowing multiple field devices to be managed with a single gateway.
Modbus, MQTT, and JSON Gateway
The module combines the functions of a serial server, Modbus gateway, MQTT gateway, JSON conversion, and VCOM communication. It is suitable for connected industrial systems and data collection architectures.
Cabinet Installation
DIN rail mounting, 6-45 VDC or PoE power supply, and an operating temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C facilitate integration into technical cabinets and industrial sites.
