USB to 4-Channel RS485 Converter

The Waveshare 25219 is an industrial USB to 4 independent RS485 channels converter. It allows you to connect multiple RS485 serial devices to a computer or host system via a single USB interface.

USB to 4x RS485 Conversion

The converter transforms the USB signal into four differential RS485 links. Each channel can be used to communicate with distinct serial devices, facilitating multi-point architectures or multi-device test benches.

Interfaces / Protocols / Integration

The product features 4 RS485 channels with 120 Ω resistors that can be enabled or disabled via a DIP switch. It is suitable for RS485 serial communications with sensors, meters, PLCs, and field equipment.

Industrial Design

The aluminum alloy casing protects the converter for use in technical environments. The module integrates TVS, ESD, overvoltage, and overcurrent protections. The stated operating range is -40 °C to +85 °C.
