M.2 Form Factor
The RM50x series adopts 3GPP Release 15 technology and supports 5G standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes. Designed in an M.2 form factor, the RM50x series modules are compatible with Quectel LTE-A Cat 6 EM06 module, Cat 12 EM12-G/EM120R-GL/EM121R-GL modules and Cat 16 EM160R module -GL, which facilitates the migration from LTE-A to 5G.
Coverage of the world's major operators
The RM50x series covers almost all major operators around the world. The integrated GNSS receiver (supports GPS, GLONASS, BDS and Galileo) greatly simplifies product design and makes positioning capabilities faster and more accurate. (The RM500U-CNV does not support GNSS.)
Integrated Rich Network Protocols
Integrates multiple industry standard interfaces and supports multiple drivers and software functions (such as Windows7, 8, 8.1, 10, USB/PCIe drivers in Linux, Android.etc), which greatly expands its application in IoT fields and eMBB, including industrial routers, home gateways, set-top boxes, industrial laptops, consumer laptops, industrial PDAs, rugged industrial tablet PCs, cameras, surveillance and digital signage.
