Industrial USB to eight-channel UART TTL converter

The Waveshare 27076, referenced USB TO 8CH TTL, extends one USB port into eight independent UART TTL serial channels. The eight interfaces can communicate simultaneously.

Configurable serial communication

The converter supports bit rates from 1,200 bps to 2 Mbps. A selector allows choosing a 3.3 V or 5 V TTL logic level. The connection of the eight channels uses a 50-pin connector with keying.

USB and power supply

The host link uses a USB-B connector powered at 5 V. An external 5 VDC power input is also available for installations that require it.

Industrial protections

The aluminum alloy casing has wall mounting points. The design incorporates a resettable fuse, overvoltage and reverse polarity protection, and TVS diodes for transient overvoltage and electrostatic discharge protection.

System compatibility

Waveshare indicates compatibility with Windows 7 to 11, macOS, Linux, and Android. The announced operating range extends from -40 to +85 °C.
