8-Channel PoE Ethernet Modbus Relay with Digital Inputs
The Waveshare 27876 is a PoE Ethernet relay module with 8 relay outputs and 8 digital inputs. It incorporates the network functions of the PoE Ethernet version while adding input reading for more comprehensive automation scenarios.
8 Relays and 8 Digital Inputs
This version differs from the 24964 by the presence of 8 isolated digital inputs. It allows both controlling relays and reading field states, such as dry contacts, buttons, sensors, or status feedback.
Interfaces / Protocols / Integration
The module communicates via Ethernet and supports Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, and MQTT. The digital inputs can be used to trigger or monitor actions according to the chosen automation architecture.
Industrial Design
Power can be supplied via 7-36 VDC or PoE. The enclosure is designed for DIN rail mounting in a technical cabinet.
