EM400-TLD - LoRaWAN ToF Distance Sensor - Milesight
The Milesight EM400-TLD is a LoRaWAN distance sensor based on Time-of-Flight technology. It is designed to measure fill levels, track lid positions, and monitor containers in Smart City and waste management applications.
Measurement and Monitoring
The sensor measures distances from 2 to 350 cm with a field of view suitable for small containers. It also includes a temperature sensor and an accelerometer to detect tilting or lid opening.
LoRaWAN Transmission
Data is transmitted via LoRaWAN Class A on the 868 MHz band. The EM400-TLD can be integrated with a LoRaWAN gateway and a compatible IoT platform to monitor levels, opening statuses, and field alerts.
Installation and Battery Life
The sensor features an IP67 enclosure suitable for outdoor environments. It operates with two 9000 mAh Li-SOCl2 batteries. Configuration can be done via NFC, mobile application, or downlink.
Applications
The EM400-TLD is suitable for containers, waste bins, small receptacles, collection systems, and urban monitoring projects. It allows tracking fill levels and optimizing field routes.
