EM400-MUD - LoRaWAN Ultrasonic Distance Sensor - Milesight
The Milesight EM400-MUD is a multi-functional LoRaWAN ultrasonic distance sensor designed for outdoor applications such as distance, level, or object presence measurement. Its measurement range of 3 to 450 cm makes it suitable for bins, parking lots, and field equipment.
Measurement and Monitoring
The sensor uses ultrasonic measurement and integrates an NTC temperature sensor as well as a 3-axis accelerometer. These functions allow for monitoring distance, tilt, or changes in the status of the monitored equipment.
LoRaWAN Transmission
Measurements are transmitted via LoRaWAN Class A on the 868 MHz band. The EM400-MUD can be associated with a LoRaWAN gateway and a compatible IoT platform to centralize data and manage alerts.
Installation and Battery Life
The IP67 enclosure and internal anti-humidity coating allow for outdoor installation. The sensor operates with two 9000 mAh Li-SOCl2 batteries. Configuration is done via NFC, mobile application, or downlink.
