The Milesight WS302 is a LoRaWAN sound level sensor designed to measure and monitor ambient noise in professional environments. It allows for tracking acoustic evolution in a space and transmitting measurements to a compatible IoT infrastructure.
Measurement and Monitoring
The sensor measures sound levels with its integrated microphone. It supports A and C weighting, as well as SPL, Leq, and Lmax indicators, to provide actionable data for acoustic monitoring.
LoRaWAN Transmission
Measurements are transmitted via LoRaWAN Class A on the 868 MHz band. The WS302 can be paired with a LoRaWAN gateway and a compatible IoT platform to centralize data, track trends, and trigger threshold alerts.
Installation and Battery Life
Configuration is done via NFC. The sensor operates with two replaceable 2700 mAh Li-SOCl2 batteries and has an IP30 rating for protected indoor installation. Its LED indicator can signal alarms directly on-site.
