Sensor Probe Interface for the RAK Sensor Hub Platform

The RAK Wireless Sensor Probe IO C10011 is an interface accessory for the Sensor Hub platform. It allows the connection of compatible probes using various industrial signals.

Supported Interfaces

The module supports RS485 equipment, SDI-12 equipment, a 4–20 mA input, two dry contact digital outputs, one digital input, and the 1-Wire protocol. It can also provide 5 V, VIN, or 24 V power supplies up to 1 A depending on the configuration.

IP67 Enclosure

The body of the Sensor Probe IO is rated IP67 for indoor or outdoor use. Multiple modules can be connected to the same Sensor Hub port using the splitter cable provided by RAK, and the distance can be extended with a compatible extension cable.

Non-Standalone Accessory

The C10011 does not work alone. It requires a RAK2560 Sensor Hub and an external power supply. It cannot be powered by battery alone when paired with the Sensor Hub.

Probe Compatibility

This reference corresponds to the Sensor Probe IO without an external probe included. RAK states that a third-party or custom probe should not be connected without prior validation: only probes whose compatibility has been confirmed for the Sensor Hub ecosystem should be used.
