The Milesight VS340 is a LoRaWAN occupancy sensor designed to detect the use of a desk, seat, or workstation. It helps building managers monitor actual space utilization without network cabling.
Occupancy Detection
The VS340 uses PIR detection to identify if a space is occupied. It can be installed under a desk, on a wall, or on a suitable surface to monitor the status of an individual workstation, shared table, or workspace.
LoRaWAN Transmission
The sensor transmits its data via LoRaWAN in Class A on the 868 MHz band. It can be paired with a LoRaWAN gateway and a compatible IoT platform to visualize occupancy rates, trigger actions, or optimize space organization.
Installation and Battery Life
The VS340 operates with a 4000 mAh Li-SOCl2 battery. It can be mounted under a desk, on a wall, or using adhesive depending on the scenario. NFC configuration via mobile app or downlink facilitates deployment.
