VS330 - LoRaWAN Restroom Occupancy Sensor - Milesight
VS330 - LoRaWAN Restroom Occupancy Sensor - Milesight
The Milesight VS330 is a LoRaWAN occupancy sensor designed for restrooms, cubicles, and shared spaces. It combines ToF technology and PIR detection to identify space occupancy without capturing images.
Occupancy Detection
The sensor reports the occupancy status of a cubicle or enclosed space. This information can be used for restroom monitoring, optimizing cleaning interventions, or displaying occupancy in a smart building.
LoRaWAN Transmission
The VS330 transmits its data via LoRaWAN in Class A on the 868 MHz band. It can be linked to a LoRaWAN gateway and a compatible IoT platform to centralize statuses, trigger alerts, or power operational scenarios.
Installation and Battery Life
The sensor operates with three Li-SOCl2 batteries and can be mounted on the ceiling or wall. NFC configuration via a mobile application simplifies commissioning and on-site adjustments.
Applications
The VS330 is suitable for public restrooms, offices, shopping centers, commercial buildings, train stations, airports, hotels, and shared spaces requiring discreet occupancy monitoring.
