EM410-RDL - LoRaWAN Distance/Radar Sensor - Milesight
EM410-RDL - LoRaWAN Radar Level/Distance Sensor - Milesight
The Milesight EM410-RDL is a LoRaWAN radar sensor designed for non-contact distance or level measurement. It uses a 60 GHz millimeter-wave radar with a measuring range of 0.3 m to 12 m, suitable for liquids and smooth solid surfaces.
Measurement and Monitoring
The radar allows for non-contact distance measurement without direct contact with the monitored surface. Its 8° beam angle helps to focus the measurement on the target area. The integrated accelerometer also allows for monitoring of the device's tilt.
LoRaWAN Transmission
This EM410-RDL version uses LoRaWAN Class A on the 868 MHz band. It can be integrated with a LoRaWAN gateway and a compatible IoT platform to centralize measurements, track thresholds, and manage level alerts.
Installation and Battery Life
The IP68 PVDF housing is suitable for harsh environments. The sensor is configured via NFC or Bluetooth and operates with a 19000 mAh Li-SOCl2 battery.
Applications
The EM410-RDL is suitable for tanks, vats, rivers, sewers, basins, water resources, and industrial facilities requiring non-contact radar measurement.
