EM500-UDL - LoRaWAN Distance and Level Sensor - Milesight
EM500-UDL - LoRaWAN Distance and Level Sensor - Milesight
The Milesight EM500-UDL is an ultrasonic LoRaWAN sensor designed to measure distance or level without contact. Its IP67 casing and high-capacity battery make it a suitable solution for industrial, technical, or outdoor sites.
Measurement and Monitoring
The sensor measures the distance between the sensor and the target surface to monitor a level or the presence of an object. It is particularly suitable for tanks, vats, basins, and installations where non-contact measurement is preferred.
LoRaWAN TransmissionData is transmitted via LoRaWAN in Class A on the 868 MHz band. The EM500-UDL can be paired with a LoRaWAN gateway and a compatible IoT platform to view measurements, track history, and trigger alerts.
Installation and AutonomyThe IP67 casing allows for use in demanding environments. The sensor operates with a replaceable 19000 mAh Li-SOCl2 battery. Configuration can be done via NFC, USB Type-C, PC software, or downlink.
Applications
The EM500-UDL is suitable for level monitoring in tanks, vats, industrial installations, Smart City sites, and environments requiring reliable field measurement.
