VS350 - LoRaWAN People Counting Sensor - Milesight

The Milesight VS350 is a LoRaWAN people counting sensor designed to track indoor foot traffic. It uses two PIR sensors to detect passages and determine the direction of movement, without using a camera.

People Counting

The VS350 enables bidirectional counting of entries and exits in a traffic area. It can also provide a temperature measurement, useful for enriching the operational context in connected buildings.

LoRaWAN Transmission

Data is transmitted via LoRaWAN in Class A on the 868 MHz band. The sensor can be integrated with a LoRaWAN gateway and a compatible IoT platform to monitor footfall, analyze trends, and organize field interventions.

Installation and Battery Life

The VS350 operates with two 2700 mAh Li-SOCl2 batteries. It can be installed on the ceiling or wall depending on the passage configuration. NFC and downlink configuration facilitate on-site deployment.

Applications

The VS350 is suitable for shops, offices, restrooms, corridors, and passage areas where simple, discreet, and image-free counting is desired.
