VS360 - LoRaWAN IR Beam People Counter - Milesight

The Milesight VS360 is a LoRaWAN people counter based on IR Breakbeam technology. It detects passages by interrupting an infrared beam between two elements, enabling bidirectional counting of entries and exits.

Passage Counting

The VS360 is designed to track people flow in passage areas. Its infrared beam technology allows counting passages without capturing images, making it suitable for environments where privacy needs to be preserved.

LoRaWAN Transmission

The counter transmits its data via LoRaWAN in Class A on the 868 MHz band. It can be paired with a LoRaWAN gateway and a compatible IoT platform to centralize attendance data, view trends, and power dashboards.

Installation and Battery Life

The VS360 operates with replaceable Li-SOCl2 batteries. It is installed on the wall on either side of the passage to be monitored. NFC configuration via a mobile app simplifies commissioning, while the OLED screen allows local viewing of information.

Applications

This counter is suitable for commercial buildings, reception areas, shops, corridors, industrial sites, and indoor public spaces requiring simple, camera-free attendance monitoring.
