The Milesight UC502-868M PN EA is an IP68 LoRaWAN I/O controller with an external antenna. This version incorporates the interfaces of the UC502 while adding an SMA connector for an external antenna, useful when the casing is installed in an enclosure or in a less favorable radio zone.
Interfaces and I/Os
The controller has 2 GPIOs, 2 analog inputs 0-10 V / 4-20 mA, 1 RS232/RS485 port, 1 SDI-12 interface, 2 sensor power outputs, and 1 SMA connector for an external antenna. It allows connecting multiple sensors and field equipment from a single LoRaWAN point.
LoRaWAN Transmission
The UC502 PN EA communicates via LoRaWAN Class A on the 868 MHz band. The external antenna allows adapting the radio installation according to the environment, while maintaining integration with a LoRaWAN gateway and a compatible IoT platform.
Installation and power supply
The controller operates with 3 x 9000 mAh lithium batteries or an external 5-24 VDC power supply. Its IP68 casing is designed for demanding outdoor installations. Mounting can be done on a wall or pole.
