UC100-868M - LoRaWAN Modbus RS485 Controller - Milesight
UC100-868M - RS485 Modbus LoRaWAN Controller - Milesight
The Milesight UC100-868M is an RS485 LoRaWAN controller designed to connect Modbus RTU devices to an IoT infrastructure. It allows data from RS485-compatible industrial devices, meters, or PLCs to be sent to a LoRaWAN network.
Interfaces and Inputs/Outputs
The UC100 has an RS485 port and can query up to 32 Modbus RTU devices depending on the configuration. It can be used as a gateway between Modbus field equipment and a compatible IoT platform.
LoRaWAN Transmission
The controller communicates via LoRaWAN Class C on the 868 MHz band. It can be paired with a LoRaWAN gateway to transmit collected data, receive commands, and integrate RS485 equipment into remote supervision.
Installation and Power Supply
The UC100 can be powered by 5-24 VDC or via USB Type-C 5 V. It can be installed on a desk or wall depending on the context. Support for Modbus RTU and Milesight D2D facilitates its integration into smart building or automation projects.
Applications
The UC100 is suitable for Modbus meters, industrial sensors, technical equipment, building automation systems, and installations requiring remote RS485 data collection.
