DS20L - LoRaWAN LiDAR Distance Detector - Dragino

The Dragino DS20L is a LoRaWAN distance detector that uses a LiDAR sensor to measure the distance between the device and an object. It is designed for IoT applications requiring short-range measurement with long-distance transmission.

Measurement and Monitoring

The DS20L measures distances from 3 cm to 200 cm. It can be used to track levels, detect object presence, or monitor fill status, depending on the implementation.

LoRaWAN Transmission

Data is transmitted via LoRaWAN Class A on the 868 MHz band. The sensor integrates with standard LoRaWAN gateways and compatible IoT platforms to centralize measurements and trigger alerts.

Installation and Battery Life

The DS20L has a built-in 2400 mAh battery. It can also be powered by an external source for scenarios requiring continuous measurement. Configuration is possible via LoRaWAN downlink or AT commands.

Applications

This detector is suitable for Smart City, waste management, smart toilets, building automation, or monitoring small levels at IoT sites.
