The Milesight GS301 is a LoRaWAN odor detector designed for professional restrooms. It measures ammonia (NH3) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) using an electrochemical principle, while also integrating temperature and humidity measurements. When a predefined threshold is reached, the device triggers a local alarm via LED indicator and buzzer to quickly signal the need for ventilation or intervention.

Building Applications and Field Operations

The GS301 is intended for environments such as hotels, commercial buildings, and smart restrooms. Thanks to LoRaWAN transmission, it can send sensor data and alarm messages to a compatible gateway and a supervisory platform. It also supports Milesight D2D for low-latency direct control, especially in scenarios related to ventilation, without always relying on a gateway.

Powered by 4 replaceable 4000 mAh Li-SOCl2 batteries, the GS301 facilitates installations without power cabling. Its configuration via a mobile application using NFC simplifies on-site setup, while its compatibility with standard LoRaWAN gateways and network servers facilitates integration into an existing IoT architecture. With its IP30 rating and internal moisture-resistant coating, it meets the needs for restroom monitoring in professional environments.
