DR-ECK1.0 - Water quality sensor
K1 RS485 Electrical Conductivity Probe
The Dragino DR-ECK1.0 is the K1 electrode variant of the conductivity probe family. It measures the electrical conductivity and temperature of water via an RS485 Modbus RTU interface.
K1 Conductivity Range
The specific range for the DR-ECK1.0 is 0 to 2,000 µS/cm, with a resolution of 1 µS/cm and a stated accuracy of ±1% of full scale. These values should not be confused with those of the ECK10.0 or EC200 variants.
Temperature Measurement
Temperature is measured from -20 to +60 °C with a resolution of 0.1 °C and a stated accuracy of ±0.5 °C. Temperature compensation operates from 0 to +60 °C, with a default reference of 25 °C.
RS485 Communication
The interface uses Modbus RTU at 9,600 bps in 8N1. The documented default K1 address is 0x12.
Submersible Installation
The probe is rated IP68, with a maximum pressure of 0.6 MPa, a 5-meter cable, and a 7 to 30 VDC power supply. The indicated power consumption is less than 0.5 W.
Family Media
The manufacturer's media used illustrates the DR-ECK1.0, DR-ECK10.0, and EC200 family. It does not allow for visual identification of the K1 constant; the ordered reference remains the determining criterion.
