RS485 pH Probe for Water Quality
The Dragino DR-PH01 is a wired probe designed to measure water pH and temperature. It integrates with a PLC, controller, or transmitter compatible with RS485 Modbus RTU.
pH Measurement
The measurement range extends from 0 to 14.00 pH, with a resolution of 0.01 pH. The stated error is ±0.15 pH and the repeatability is ±0.02 pH.
Temperature Measurement and Compensation
The probe measures temperature from 0 to 60 °C with a resolution of 0.1 °C and a stated error of ±0.5 °C. Compensation is manual, with a default value of 25 °C.
RS485 Communication
The interface uses Modbus RTU at 9600 bps in 8N1. The documented default address for the DR-PH01 is 0x10.
Installation
Current documentation indicates a power supply of 7 to 30 VDC, power consumption below 0.5 W, IP68 protection, a maximum pressure of 0.6 MPa, and a 5-meter cable.
The label visible on the manufacturer's media may indicate a narrower power supply range depending on production. Always check the label on the delivered probe before connecting.
Calibration
Dragino documents a three-point calibration with pH 9.18, 6.86, and 4.01 solutions.
