WSS-02 - RS485 Wind Speed Direction Sensor - Dragino
The Dragino WSS-02 is an RS485 weather sensor designed to measure wind speed and direction. It integrates with a compatible Dragino weather station or a measurement architecture with an RS485 interface.
Measurement and Monitoring
The sensor allows for on-site monitoring of wind conditions. Wind speed and direction measurements are useful for local weather, agriculture, outdoor facility safety, environmental monitoring, or Smart City projects.
RS485 Interface
The WSS-02 is an RS485 sensor. It should not be presented as a standalone LoRaWAN sensor: LoRaWAN transmission depends on the transmitter or weather station to which it is connected.
Installation and Integration
The sensor is designed for outdoor use with a corrosion-resistant design. It can be connected to a compatible weather station to integrate wind measurements into a complete weather monitoring system.
