Submersible LoRaWAN Liquid Level Sensor, 0 to 5 m Range
The Milesight EM500-SWL 5 m measures liquid levels in tanks, reservoirs, and hydraulic installations exposed to demanding conditions. Its submersible probe transmits measurements via LoRaWAN for easy remote monitoring.
Accurate Submersible Measurement
This version covers a measuring range of 0 to 5 m of water. The relative pressure probe offers an accuracy of ±0.5% of full scale, a resolution of 0.01 m, and a long-term stability of ±0.3% of full scale per year. Its design is not affected by foam, wind, or rain.
LoRaWAN Transmission and Data Continuity
The EM500-SWL operates in LoRaWAN Class A with OTAA or ABP activation. It is compatible with standard LoRaWAN gateways and network servers. Local storage of 1,000 records, retransmission, data recovery, and threshold alarms help preserve measurement tracking.
Installation, Protection, and Autonomy
The transmitter is IP67 protected and the probe is IP68. They operate from -30 °C to +70 °C and from -20 °C to +70 °C respectively. The casing can be installed on a wall, pole, or DIN rail. Configuration is done with the mobile application via NFC, PC software via the internal USB Type-C port, or via LoRaWAN downlink. The replaceable 19,000 mAh Li-SOCl2 battery offers up to 10 years of autonomy under the test conditions indicated by Milesight.
