LoRaWAN Field Test

The Milesight FT101 is a portable field tester designed for verifying LoRaWAN networks. It integrates a single-channel SX1262 LoRaWAN module and runs on Android 12.0 with a 5.72-inch touchscreen. Designed for on-site interventions, it allows users to check signal status, packet loss rate, and LoRaWAN gateway coverage before or during the deployment of IoT equipment.

Network Deployment and Validation

With suitable antennas, the FT101 supports the global LoRaWAN bands indicated in the documentation, including CN470, IN865, EU868, RU864, US915, AU915, KR920, and AS923. It is compatible with standard LoRaWAN gateways and major network servers. Its noise scan, signal evaluation, ping pong, RSSI/SNR measurement, and loss rate tracking functions help integrators, operators, and field teams validate a coverage area and adjust the location of gateways or sensors.

On-site Operation

The FT101 facilitates acceptance testing, maintenance, and optimization operations for industrial IoT networks. Its 4300 mAh rechargeable lithium-iron battery provides approximately 8 hours of use, with charging possible via USB Type-C. The integrated GNSS allows for recording the location of test points, useful for documenting field measurements. Its IP65 rating and CE certification confirm its suitability for professional interventions in technical environments.
