The Milesight UG56 is a compact indoor LoRaWAN gateway for professional IoT networks. It is designed for installations requiring a reliable, PoE-powered gateway with simple integration into a building or technical cabinet.

EU868 LoRaWAN Gateway

The UG56 features 8 LoRaWAN channels in the EU868 band. It allows for collecting data from LoRaWAN sensors and transmitting it to a network server or a compatible IoT platform.

Network Connectivity Without 4G

This version is a non-4G backhaul version. It relies on a Gigabit Ethernet port with 802.3af PoE for power and network connection. 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi is present, according to the product sheet, for local configuration and integration functions.

Flexible Installation

The gateway can be powered by 802.3af PoE or 5V USB-C. Standard mounting can be done on a desktop or wall. An optional DIN rail mounting kit is available, allowing for cleaner integration into industrial cabinets.
