Industrial 5G Modem with USB Type-C Interface

The Teltonika TRM500 is an industrial cellular modem designed to bring high-speed mobile connectivity to IoT equipment, M2M, industrial PCs, or embedded systems. It supports 5G Sub-6 SA/NSA, 4G LTE Cat 19, and 3G, with a USB Type-C interface for data and power.

High-speed 5G connectivity

The TRM500 offers speeds of up to 3.4 Gbps download and 900 Mbps upload on a 5G network. 4G LTE Cat 19 fallback maintains connectivity when 5G is unavailable.

USB Type-C and industrial integration

The USB Type-C interface provides a virtual network interface for the host equipment. The modem has a physical Mini SIM slot, 4 SMA connectors for external mobile antennas, and a 4-pin industrial power connector.

Power and robustness

The TRM500 can be powered by 9-30 VDC via the industrial connector or 5 V via USB Type-C. Its aluminum casing, compact size, and operating range of -40 °C to +75 °C make it a suitable solution for demanding technical environments.

Compatibility and uses

The modem can be integrated into Windows, Linux, or Android systems depending on available drivers and tools. It is suitable for remote maintenance applications, video surveillance, data acquisition, mobile equipment, and high-speed connectivity for industrial PCs.
