The RAK7289V2 is an industrial outdoor LoRaWAN gateway from the WisGate Edge Pro 2 range. It is designed for professional LoRaWAN networks requiring a robust enclosure, outdoor installation, and wired backhaul.

8-channel Outdoor LoRaWAN

This version is an 8-channel LoRaWAN gateway. It is intended for long-term outdoor deployments, with support for RAK integration modes such as Basics Station, Packet Forwarder, MQTT Bridge, and WisDM, depending on the configuration.

Version without 4G Backhaul

The RAK7289V2 is a version without LTE backhaul. Network connectivity relies on Ethernet with 802.3af PoE, supplemented by 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and integrated GPS. It is therefore suitable for sites where an Ethernet connection is available.

IP67 Enclosure and Power Supply

The gateway features an IP67 enclosure suitable for outdoor use. It can be powered via 802.3af PoE or 12 VDC. The specified operating range is from -40 °C to +70 °C. It can be mounted on a wall or a pole.
