The RAK7289CV2 WisGate Edge Pro 2 is an industrial LoRaWAN gateway designed for outdoor deployments. This product sheet specifically corresponds to manufacturer reference 715100: 16-channel version, EU868 frequency, European plug, and LTE Cat 4 EG95-E modem for the EMEA region.

16-channel LoRaWAN concentrator

Its 16 LoRaWAN channels allow it to handle more traffic than an 8-channel gateway. It is suitable for professional IoT networks, urban infrastructures, smart agriculture, and extensive industrial installations.

4G, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi backhaul

The gateway combines an LTE Cat 4 modem, an Ethernet port with 802.3af PoE power, and a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection. The integrated GPS facilitates localization and synchronization of deployments.

IP67 outdoor enclosure

The IP67 enclosure is designed for outdoor wall or mast installation. Power can be supplied via 802.3af PoE or 12 VDC. The documented operating range extends from -40 °C to +70 °C.

Management and protocols

WisGate OS 2 notably supports Basics Station, Packet Forwarder, MQTT Bridge, and WisDM remote management. Network functions also include OpenVPN and WireGuard.
