The RAK7289CV2 is an industrial outdoor LoRaWAN gateway from the WisGate Edge Pro 2 series with integrated LTE connectivity. It is designed for professional outdoor deployments requiring a robust gateway and cellular backhaul.

8-Channel Outdoor LoRaWAN

This gateway features 8 LoRaWAN channels. It supports common integration modes of the RAK ecosystem, such as Basics Station, Packet Forwarder, MQTT Bridge, and WisDM depending on the configuration.

LTE Cat 4 Backhaul, Ethernet, and GPS

The RAK7289CV2 version integrates an LTE Cat 4 backhaul with a Nano SIM slot. It also features Ethernet with 802.3af PoE, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and an integrated GPS. This combination allows for flexible installation, with wired or cellular networks.

IP67 Outdoor Design

The IP67 enclosure allows for outdoor installation. Power can be supplied via 802.3af PoE or 12 VDC. The specified operating range is -40 °C to +70 °C. Mounting can be done on a wall or pole.
