4G Solar LoRaWAN Gateway for Remote Sites

The Milesight SG50 is a solar LoRaWAN gateway designed for outdoor IoT deployments, particularly in remote or hard-to-power locations. It combines 8-channel LoRaWAN connectivity, 4G backhaul, solar power, and an integrated battery.

EU868 8-Channel LoRaWAN

The SG50 operates on the EU868 band with 8 LoRaWAN channels. It allows for the collection of data from LoRaWAN sensors over extended areas, without relying on local wired network infrastructure.

4G Backhaul and Configuration Functions

The gateway integrates a 4G LTE Cat 1 / GSM backhaul with a Nano SIM slot. 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi is available for configuration functions. The integrated GPS allows for equipment location depending on the use case.

Solar Power and IP67 Enclosure

The SG50 is designed for solar power and features a 3.6 V / 25 Ah battery. It can also be powered by 12-24 VDC via M12 or USB-C 5 V for maintenance or installation needs. The IP67 enclosure and operating range of -30 °C to +70 °C allow for outdoor installation.

It is particularly suitable for connected agriculture, remote sites, environmental monitoring, water networks, remote stations, infrastructures without available power, and autonomous outdoor LoRaWAN projects.
