Industrial LTE-M / NB-IoT Gateway to Ethernet, RS232, RS485, and GNSS
The Teltonika TRB256 is a compact industrial IoT gateway designed for telemetry, metering, monitoring, and low-power data transmission applications. It combines LTE Cat M1, NB-IoT connectivity, dual physical SIM, Ethernet, RS232, RS485, GNSS, and configurable I/Os.
LTE-M / NB-IoT Connectivity for Telemetry
The TRB256 supports LTE Cat M1, Cat NB2, and Cat NB1 technologies. These networks are suitable for low-power IoT uses: data transmission, sensor monitoring, smart metering, isolated equipment, and distributed automation.
Its 2 physical SIM slots enhance service availability through operator failover.
Ethernet, Serial Interfaces, and GNSS
The gateway features a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port, RS232 and RS485 interfaces, a GNSS receiver, 3 configurable I/Os, and a 0-30 V analog input. It is suitable for PLCs, sensors, meters, serial equipment, and localization applications.
Industrial Protocols and Security
The TRB256 supports protocols such as Modbus RTU/TCP, BACnet, OPC UA, DNP3, and DLMS. For secure communications, it notably supports OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard, GRE, L2TP, and ZeroTier.
Industrial Design
With its 9-30 VDC power supply, -40 °C to +75 °C operating temperature, and DIN rail, wall, or flat surface mounting options, the TRB256 easily integrates into field installations and technical cabinets.
