The WisGate Connect gateway is specially designed as an outdoor gateway

1. ChirpStack Compatibility and LoRa Mesh Network

This gateway is compatible with the LoRa Mesh network, enabling extended coverage and improved connectivity in complex or isolated environments, ideal for smart city and connected agriculture projects.

The WisGate Connect supports ChirpStack OS, an open-source software suite dedicated to LoRaWAN network management, allowing simplified management of devices and LoRa gateways.

2. Hardware Power and Flexibility

The WisGate Connect integrates the RAK7391 carrier board for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (CM4), offering a high-performance ARM solution capable of running various operating systems and IoT applications.

3. Multiple LoRaWAN Configurations

The WisGate Connect offers several LoRaWAN configurations, with 8 or 16 sub-GHz channels or dual-band (sub-GHz + 2.4GHz), as well as optional LTE connectivity, making the device adaptable to various deployment scenarios.

4. Robust IP67 Outdoor Enclosure

Designed for harsh outdoor environments, the enclosure is IP67 rated and features Type-N connectors for LoRaWAN antennas.

It includes antennas for:

• LTE
• WiFi
• Bluetooth

for optimal communication.

5. PoE Support and Flexible Power Supply

The WisGate Connect can be powered via PoE+ (802.3at) or several other options, ensuring convenient and reliable installation, even in the most demanding environments.

6. Custom RAKPiOS Operating System

The WisGate Connect comes with the RAKPiOS system, a Linux distribution based on Raspberry Pi OS, integrating all necessary drivers, configuration scripts, and Docker to facilitate the deployment of IoT services.
