815057 - WisGate Connect Base KIT Gateway - RAK7391 - Rak Wireless
- Versatile Platform for Advanced IoT Solutions
The RAK7391, based on the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (CM4), is a versatile carrier board, ideal for creating LoRaWAN gateways, Edge devices, or industrial computers. Its Mini-ITX compatibility with multiple slots for radio modules and WisBlock makes it a robust base for a variety of IoT applications.
- Interfaces and Connectivity for Developers
The RAK7391 board features multiple interfaces, including HDMI, Ethernet (1GB and 2.5GB with optional PoE), USB2 and USB3, as well as mPCIe, CSI, DSI, and M.2 connectors. These options allow developers to meet numerous needs in terms of connectivity and device integration.
- Power Flexibility and Energy Management
To meet industrial constraints, the RAK7391 offers several power modes, including DC terminal, Phoenix terminal, and optional PoE. A fan connector is available for cooling, and ultra-capacitors ensure continuity in case of power failure.
- Optimized RAKPiOS Operating System
The RAK7391 uses RAKPiOS, a custom Linux distribution integrating all required drivers as well as Docker, facilitating rapid deployment of IoT services. Thanks to the rakpios-cli tool, network configuration and Docker container deployment are simplified, making this board ready for professional use.
