The router supports 4G LTE Cat 4, with speeds up to 150 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload. Its 2 physical SIM slots allow for carrier failover to improve connection availability.

The UR35 GPW has 5 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports, including 1 WAN and 4 LAN. It also integrates Wi-Fi, RS232 and RS485 interfaces, as well as digital I/Os for communicating with field equipment.
