4G LTE Industrial Cellular Router with PoE+ for IoT Deployments
The Teltonika RUT951 PoE+ is an industrial cellular router designed for IoT infrastructure and technical networks requiring reliable mobile connectivity, Wi‑Fi 4, and simplified power via PoE+. It integrates 4 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports, including 1 WAN port and 3 LAN ports, 4G LTE Cat 4 connectivity, and a dual physical SIM architecture. This PoE+ version stands out for its ability to power connected equipment while centralizing data transmission on a single industrial router.
Cellular Connectivity and Service Continuity
The router supports 4G LTE Cat 4 with speeds up to 150 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload, as well as 3G and 2G compatibility. The presence of 2 physical SIM slots allows for automatic failover scenarios based on several conditions: weak signal, data limit, roaming, no network, or connection failure.
Integrated PoE+ to Simplify Power Supply
The RUT951 PoE+ features PoE In and PoE Out functions to simplify powering compatible network equipment. This design facilitates deployments in technical cabinets, monitoring enclosures, or field installations, while limiting the number of separate power supplies.
Network Functions, Security, and VPN
This router embeds RutOS, a system based on OpenWrt, with advanced routing, monitoring, and security functions. It supports failover, load balancing, DHCP, Hotspot, as well as a wide range of network and industrial protocols.
In terms of security, it integrates a firewall, attack prevention, VLAN, and access control. For secure interconnections, it notably supports OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard, GRE, L2TP, DMVPN, and ZeroTier.
Wi‑Fi, Remote Management, and Industrial IoT Uses
The Wi‑Fi 802.11b/g/n module operates in access point or station mode. The router is also suitable for IoT uses thanks to its support for MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus TCP, DNP3, and DLMS/COSEM.
For operation and maintenance, it can be administered via Web UI, SMS, SNMP, TR-069, JSON-RPC, and RMS. Its aluminum casing, operating range from -40 °C to +75 °C, and compact size make it a suitable solution for demanding technical environments.
