S2102 - LoRaWAN Luminosity Sensor - SenseCAP

The SenseCAP S2102 is a LoRaWAN luminosity sensor designed to measure light intensity in outdoor or semi-exposed environments. It allows for monitoring available light in agricultural, greenhouse, weather, or environmental monitoring applications.

Measurement and Monitoring

The sensor measures luminosity from 0 to 160,000 lux. This data can help track sunlight, manage cultivation scenarios, monitor a greenhouse, or analyze lighting conditions at an outdoor site.

LoRaWAN Transmission

Measurements are transmitted via LoRaWAN Class A on the 868 MHz band. The S2102 can be connected to a LoRaWAN gateway and a compatible IoT platform to centralize data, track trends, and generate alerts.

Installation and Battery Life

Configuration is done via Bluetooth and a mobile application, with OTA support. The sensor features an IP66 enclosure and operates on a non-rechargeable 19 Ah battery, suitable for low-power IoT deployments.

Applications

The S2102 is suitable for greenhouses, farms, outdoor buildings, weather stations, storage areas, or environmental monitoring projects requiring reliable luminosity measurement.
