TICS'O WATTECO - LoRaWAN
LoRaWAN sensor for TIC remote reading
The Watteco TICS’O sensor remotely transmits data from the ENEDIS electricity meters’ TIC output via a LoRaWAN network. It decodes the customer teleinformation stream and then uploads consumption data to a remote server. This function allows electrical measurements to be integrated into an energy monitoring platform without interfering with the meter's operation.
Compatibility and installation
The TICS’O is documented for PME-PMI, CBE, CJE, ICE, and Linky meters, in historical or standard frames depending on the equipment. Its 1U DIN rail format facilitates integration into an electrical panel. The external radio antenna can be relocated to adapt the installation to the LoRaWAN coverage available on site.
Power supply and transmission
The sensor can be powered by 230 V AC, 3.6 to 24 V DC, or directly by the TIC of a Linky meter when this configuration is available. It operates in LoRaWAN class A and supports several uplink logics: periodic transmission, transmission on variation, and request/response exchange.
Applications
- Remote reading of ENEDIS electricity meters
- Monitoring consumption and load curves
- Energy supervision of buildings and technical sites
- Monitoring the output of solar installations
