RAK2270 Developer for LoRaWAN Research and Development

The RAK Wireless RAK2270 reference 215021 is the Developer EU868 variant. It is intended for testing, firmware development, and hardware integration around the RAK2270 flexible tracker.

Programmable Version

Unlike the Generic variant, the Developer version exposes components, pins, and test points. Its firmware can be customized by the user using the hardware and software resources published by RAK.

Programming Clip Included

The official configuration for reference 215021 is "With Clip without Battery". The package therefore includes the tracker and a programming PCB clip, but no battery.

LoRaWAN Identifiers

The EUIs and OTAA key are not provided for this development variant. The integrator must prepare their own identifiers and their LoRaWAN EU868 environment.

Integrated Sensors

The RAK2270 combines a temperature sensor from -20 to +60 °C, with an advertised resolution of 0.1 °C, and a three-axis accelerometer. The flexible circuit measures approximately 85 × 118 × 1.5 mm.
