UC512-DI-868M PN EA - LoRaWAN Solenoid Valve Controller External Antenna - Milesight

The Milesight UC512-DI-868M PN EA is a version of the UC512-DI solenoid valve controller with an external antenna. It is designed for field installations where the antenna needs to be relocated or better positioned to improve radio conditions.

Interfaces and inputs/outputs

The controller has 2 5/9/12 VDC solenoid outputs, 2 GPIOs that can be used as dry contacts or counters, and an SMA connector for an external antenna. It allows controlling solenoid valves while adapting the radio part to the installation environment.

LoRaWAN Transmission

The UC512-DI PN EA communicates via LoRaWAN in Class A on the 868 MHz band. The SMA connector allows the use of an external antenna for installations in enclosures, technical rooms, or areas with less favorable reception.

Installation and Power Supply

The controller operates with 3 9000 mAh Li-SOCl2 batteries. It can be wall-mounted or pole-mounted. This version is suitable for outdoor deployments requiring better antenna positioning.

Applications

The UC512-DI PN EA is suitable for connected irrigation, agricultural sites, greenhouses, green spaces, and field equipment installed in enclosures or in radio-constrained areas.
