Dual-band RS485 to Wi-Fi Converter

The PUSR USR-DR164 is a compact serial converter designed to connect RS485 equipment to an industrial Wi-Fi network. This model corresponds to the RS485 version, intended for sensors, PLCs, meters, and serial equipment using an RS485 bus.

RS485 to Wi-Fi Conversion

The converter provides transparent transmission between the RS485 interface and the Wi-Fi network. It allows existing serial equipment to be integrated into a wireless architecture without modifying the field equipment.

Interfaces / Protocols / Integration

The USR-DR164 supports dual-band Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz / 5.8 GHz and AP, STA, and AP+STA modes. It also supports TCP, UDP, HTTP, MQTT, IGMP, and Modbus RTU to Modbus TCP conversion.

Industrial Design

Its compact form factor facilitates cabinet integration. The module accepts a 5-36 VDC power supply and operates over a temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C.

Applications

It is suitable for industrial installations where RS485 equipment needs to be connected to a Wi-Fi network: supervision, data acquisition, automation, remote maintenance, and IoT integration.
