MLR003R - Batteryless LoRaWAN Thermostatic Valve - Micropelt

The Micropelt MLR003R is a batteryless LoRaWAN thermostatic valve for hydronic radiators. It uses energy harvesting to limit battery-related maintenance operations and enable connected heating control.

Heating Control

The valve can operate in either valve position or setpoint temperature mode depending on the integration. It allows room-by-room heating control and provides useful information such as motor status, radio status, or available energy data.

LoRaWAN Transmission

The MLR003R communicates via LoRaWAN Class A on the 868 MHz band. It can be integrated with a LoRaWAN gateway and a compatible IoT platform to monitor statuses, adjust setpoints, and remotely track a fleet of valves.

Installation and Power Supply

The valve is self-powered by energy harvesting. USB charging is also possible depending on operational needs. It is designed for mounting on radiators with compatible thermostatic valves, in residential, commercial, or collective buildings.

Applications

The MLR003R is suitable for collective housing, commercial buildings, hotels, offices, and sites wishing to control heating by zone while reducing battery replacement constraints.
