VS361 - People Counting Sensor - Milesight
Occupancy sensor for shop windows and thoroughfares
The Milesight VS361 measures traffic in front of a shop window or point of sale to analyze pedestrian traffic trends. This data can be compared with the number of store entries to study the conversion rate.
Adjustable infrared detection
The VS361 uses diffuse reflection technology with a 940 nm infrared LED. The detection distance is adjustable from 1 to 9 meters in an open environment. The manufacturer recommends an installation height of between 0.7 and 1.2 meters.
Façade installation
Its IP65 casing is suitable for façades and semi-outdoor environments. The sensor can be powered by PoE 802.3af or by a 12 to 60 VDC power supply. The RJ45 port is only used for PoE power.
Digital output
An open collector NPN output allows detection events to be transmitted to an external system. The VS361 is not available in a LoRaWAN version: it should not be confused with the Milesight LoRaWAN counters in the VS range.
