The Dragino WSS-09 is a 9-in-1 LoRaWAN weather station designed for weather and environmental monitoring. It combines a set of weather sensors with a LoRaWAN transmitter to send data to a compatible IoT infrastructure.
Measurement and Monitoring
The station allows monitoring of several parameters: wind, temperature, humidity, pressure, luminosity, PM2.5 and PM10 particles, noise, and rain, depending on the configuration. This data helps monitor local conditions and feed environmental dashboards.
LoRaWAN Transmission
Data is transmitted via LoRaWAN Class A on the 868 MHz band. The WSS-09 can be paired with a LoRaWAN gateway and a compatible IoT platform to centralize measurements, track trends, and create alerts.
Installation and Integration
The station uses an RS485 interface to communicate with the weather module and can also integrate certain additional RS485 sensors depending on the installation. A pulse counter input can be used to connect a compatible rain gauge.
